164. It is narrated from Abu Huraira (r.a.) that one day the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) asked:<\/p>\n
\u201cDo you know what is backbiting?\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
The Noble Companions answered:<\/p>\n
\u201cAllah and His Messenger know better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/i>Backbiting is your mention of your brother in a manner which he does not like.\u201d<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is your opinion about that the situation that I actually find (that failing) in my brother which I made a mention of?<\/p>\n
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:<\/p>\n
