11. Times of Dawn

٩٢. عَنْ بِلَالٍ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:

«عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّهُ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَإِنَّ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ قُرْبَةٌ إِلَى اللّٰهِ وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ وَتَكْفِيرٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَطْرَدَةٌ لِلدَّاءِ عَنِ الْجَسَدِ».

92.  Bilal (r.a.) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying:

“Try your best to wake up at night, because it was the tradition of the righteous people before you. There is no doubt that waking up at night for worship is the sign of being close to Allah. (This act of worship) prevents from wrongdoings, becomes expiation to sins, and treats the illnesses of the body.” (Tirmidhi, Daawat, 101/3549)
