٩٩. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
«كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمٰنِ:
(سُبْحانَ اللّٰهِ وَبِحَمْدهِ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ الْعَظِيمِ)».
99. It is narrated from Abu Huraira (r.a.) that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:
“There are two words that are light on the tongue but weigh heavily in the balance, and loved by the Most Merciful Allah:
«Subhan Allahi wa bi Hamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azim: Allah is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him. Allah is free from imperfection, the Supreme.” (Bukhari, Aiman, 19; Daawat, 65; Tawhid, 58; Muslim, Dhikr, 31. Also see Tirmidhi, Daawat, 59/3467; Ibn Majah, Adab, 56)
