f. Fornication and Adultery

155. Aisha (r.anha), the mother of Muslims, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:

“O followers of Muhammad! There is none, who has a greater sense of ghira (jealousy) than Allah (causing His dislike and hatred), so He has forbidden that His slave commits illegal sexual intercourse. O followers of Muhammad![1] If you but knew what I know, you would laugh less and weep more.” (Bukhari, Nikah, 107)

[1] Our Master the Prophet addressed twice as “O the Ummah (followers) of Muhammad!” to make his affection and mercy towards his followers felt. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) cherished his followers and warned them insistently to save them from falling into such wicked sins.
