119.

١١٩. عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا:

«هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْتَصُّ مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ شَيْئًا؟» قَالَتْ:

«لَا، كَانَ عَمَلُهُ دِيمَةً وَأَيُّكُمْ يُطِيقُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطِيقُ».

119. Alqama (r.a.) narrated: I asked Aisha, the mother of the believers:

“Did the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) use to allocate any day to a certain kind of worship?

 Aisha answered:

“No. His deeds were like a light and constant rain. Who among you is able to do what the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was able to do in worshipping Allah?!” (Bukhari, Sawm, 64; Riqaq, 18; Muslim, Musafirin, 217)
